Hey, I spoke to a custom company, and they said it is possible to make the clear corners. I was just wondering what the most you guys would pay for a pair of clear corners.

You are talking about the headlight unit right? I'll be down. Dunno how much its worth. Could you see if they can make clear sidemarkers?

I'm not too keen on the idea of cracking open my headlight housing, so if you're talking about a clear piece to replace the orange piece in there...I'm not in...


But..if you're talking about the bumper lenses, then yeah, hell yeah, I'm down on those.

 

I think he is referring to the orange side markers on your bumper.

 

BTW - I can't seem paying much more than $60 for some bumper lenses...

Yeah I was. They say they are a high profile company and use LEDs in the markers, so pricing would be higher than normal max's. They said don't expect to pay less than a C note for a pair.

 

Whoa...if they're LED clears then I think I might be willing to spring for that much..

 

If they were LED's for $100 shipped I think that I would be in.

 

Thing is that it's at least 100 a pair for the LEDs. They actually have corners that have TWO leds in them, can have different colors.

 

I would definitely want amber leds...for legal reasons

I emailed the guy and asked if they can do a custom job for my car. The guy was very nice, called me back and everything. If anyone wants to, just do what I did and email them saying how no one makes it for our car. They aren't a big company and said they wouldn't be interested in doing any group deals but its worth a try to get something for our car.

 

Oh yeah, I've known about that site for a while. I've never considered it though because others have tried to get him to make custom stuff for their cars and he always seemed to turn them down. I'm actually surprised he offered to do it for ya at all.

 

Thing is I still have to think about doing it. pretty expensive. I already bought tint spray, see how it goes. If all else fails, mI might get the corners.
