Reverse Modding
Reverse Modding
I have a question that I have been thinking about but never got around to asking. For those of you that have suspension mods or any mods for that matter such as strut bars, sway bar, springs, struts, bigger rims, intakes, exhaust, etc..:
Have you ever driven another 5th Gen Maxima completly stock after driving yours with the mods for a while and noticed a huge difference in the quality of the ride? I ask because it seems to me that we would get used to the mods so much that you wouldn't really know what we had until we went back to bare bones. Any comments welcomed.

The thing that always surprises me when I drive a Max with stock suspension (I have Eibach/Tokico) is the body motion. Yes, the ride is a bit smoother, but when one tries to change lanes quickly, it feels like the car is going to tip over.
With performance springs, you turn the wheel and the car follows with no monkey motion.

Though I have virtually no mods, I do notice when I take my dad's I35 on the interstate and do lane changes it feels much more wobbly and loose than mine with the FSTB.
