Harlan Shift Light Installed- Car is fully operable!!
I just finished installing the Harlan shift light. Piece o' cake. Took me less than two hours, and only because I wasn't sure where to mount it.
I ended up cutting the "roll of quarters" in a much smaller piece and mounting the LEDs facing out, above the rear view mirror, attached to the ceiling. It looks awesome and you can't even tell it is there.
The best part: I only ran into two snags!
1. The programming info is off by about 2500 RPMs or so. I set it at 8900 RPMs, but it turns on at 6200, right where I wanted it. It took a little bit of trial and error to figure it out, but I got it where I want it.
2. I severed the ground wire for my radar detector when I put the trim piece back on. All fixed, no biggie.
Well worth the $25 I paid for it considering I will NEVER hit my rev limiter again.
Pics to come later. My brand new digital camera is already broken.......don't ask.

Wait....I meant 3 snags
Actually, I forgot one more problem. The bottom retaining clips on the black piece of trim around the dash (with the power mirror switch and dimmer switch) fell of and won't stay on. Is this common? I can't seem to get them to stay on the plastic. When I pop it in, they fall off.
