revving question

2002 max SE w/no option or modulations. put it in P and revved up to 5000 rpm. when i took my foot off the accelerator, i heard a short spraying "pssst" sound in engine. it happenes all the time. is something wrong or am i just "pushing it too hard"?

Why are you reving the car in park? Does it make any funny sounds when you drive it?

I just wanted to see how the engine noise was when in high rpms. it doesn't make any funny sounds when i am driving it but i am worried that something might be wrong with some sort of pressure valves or something.
