Stillen Body Kit Painting Issues

I took my Stillen Aero Kit to a Nissan dealer's body shop to get it painted and installed. To prep, they washed it with soap and water, alcohol, paint thinner, and sanded. Then painted and baked. The problem is that the kit is sweating. The shop said they have never had this problem...painter has 20 years experience...they are stumped. What are your suggestions/ experiences? Did the shop prep incorrectly? How can the problem be fixed?

Thanks

No. Supposedly, you must "sweat" the bodykit in an oven or something BEFORE prepping and painting. Otherwise, the mold release agent will come out afterwards and screw up the paint.

You MUST have a shop that paints POLYURETHANE do the job. This is NOT a normal prep and paint like body panels and fiberglass.

This is just what I've found in my QUEST to get mine painted.

I spoke to Stillen. I bought the kit from Avalon...Stillen says that they won't even talk to me about it because I didn't buy it from them. They were incredibly rude about it. We called Avalon first... I was at the body shop when the assistant manager called. They had no solution either except that they bake the kit for 12 hrs. before ever doing anything, and then said that there are no promises that it will work. After listing to Avalons painting/installation instructions as well as price (over $1000)...it seems to me that most body shops don't put in as much time as Avalon. I spoke to another company that sells the kit and they said that all you have to do is wash and sand before painting... which is what my shop did.
