how hard was it to clear out the headlights of the 2k2? because i've done mods to things like my computer where im sweating through the whole proces...i don't want this to happen...
There's two ways to doing it, the simple way and the hard way.
Simple:
- Pop into oven at 125 degrees
- Take out and slowly pry apart the casing
- Repeat as necessary until fully taken apart
- Clear headlights
- Seal back together using something which i don't know what it is.
Hard way:
- Use search
- Use a heat gun, slowly pry, repeat until done.
- Clear and seal.
Hmm... there's really no 2 ways about it

its not dat hard...i personally think that the heatgun method is better...in the oven method, the headlights cool down too fast, so you u have to pop it back in once in awhile....taking the headlight about usually takes me 45 mins to an hr...and the original stuff that held the headlight together seems to be something like jb weld...its hard to take off...i usually use silicon to put it back together, unless my friends want to accually spend the money to go buy jb weld...and i haven't seen anyone really mess up their headlight...my friend w/ a cl was doing his right, he wanted to claybar the inside of the headlight...bad idea...leaves scrathes....and he tried to pull the headlight apart TOO fast, so the back of it bent all retarted, so it didn't seal up too well....we went back opened it up and did it all over w/ alot more silicone and some, well alot of masking tape to hold the headlight together....sorry its long....
