because someone in my apartments has one, and the HIDs seem to be a higher temp. rating (more purpleish) Will they fit a 2k2?

Hey, I've lightened up(pun intended!).BTW, I've had the same question about the Altima, 350Z, G35, I35, etc. burners, but it's just not worth the cost to swap them for a few hundred K, if that.
I'd rather spend the $250 on the Philips 6000K. Now, if I could get some Acura or similar D2R burners for $50, then sure why not, but DaveB said the OEM D2R burners were around $130-150 each just for stock 2K2 replacements.

I doubt you'll need to change the ballasts, but I've only read one person here running them.
