did anyone install an aftermarket CD deck? how does it look?

i'm interested in gettng one with MP3 capability, but it'll ruin the already nice setup the max has. Perhaps a changer for the trunk? I have a CD/MP3 player i put right outside the ashtray and feed it through a cassette, but it's an eyesore.

 

If you want to put in an aftermarket deck just buy the dash kit from sounddomain.com

Get it painted to match the dash and it will look just fine.

 

yeah man i got one with mpe too!!! looks hot...you had the same question i did..but once i redid all the interior sound then i liked it..it was worth it!!! you gonna change the speakers? it sucks cuz i have been lookin for a dash kit for the 01 max for a single din head unit...cat find anywhere...any ideas anyone????

 

You can actually get away without having to repaint the Scosche kit. It's not a perfect match but it doesn't look tacky either.
