It went on fairly easy but is definitely a 2-person task. I assisted (ie. watched and handed stuff) my shop foreman as he installed it. The only thing he really was worried about was that mounting the arm brackets where the instructions said to was right at the spot where the ABS sensor wire and brake cable attachment points are. We decided to put the brackets just ahead of these so instead of the recommended 3" of bar sticking out I only have about 1/4". Not sure what effect that is having on the overall operation of the bar but as it is I am very impressed thusfar.
Total install time, using a lift and airtools with smoke-break and required lecture on wasting money with mods, was less than 30 minutes.

HUGE!

You are making the bar less ridged by mounting it that way. I would recommend finding a way to mount it as instructed.

I encountered the same problem, but fixed it by moving my mounts back on the RSB (to the rear of the ABS brackets). The mounts are 4-5 inches (didn't measure) from the end, and although I haven't taken my car all the way to the hairy edge yet (so don't know which end will finally slide), the steering feels much closer to neutral. And body roll is reduced by...50%? 60%? It's amazing.

I also wrapped the various cables and tubing with tape, and caulked around the bolt heads to avoid any rubbing. Probably just paranoia, but I like to install things and forget about them.

Hey, did you noticed any difference in driving with the FSTB as oppose to driving without it?

And I hope you are kidding about getting that spoiler... I mean wing.

When the y and b pipes get here I'll tweak the mounting of the RSB a bit. Thank you and Maximax2 for the input. I have several nice highway-speed curves on my commute to work and home, can't wait to see how much more the car will improve with the new mounting.

Is it just me, or do all these strut bars look the same. Each company just paints the "feet" a different color, and puts there logo on it.
I like the VORTEX brand strut bar. It probably works the same, but it looks sturdier...is that spelled right?
