Good to hear... I just ordered the exact same FSTB from directparts a few hours ago. I have a 2002 though, hopefully I won't run into any major fitting issues with the intake or hood... and if I do, there's tons of threads on what to do about it anyway.

My's is 2001 , it just fit like a glove, it shouldn't have any problem for your 2k2.

You might have a lil clerance problem where the throttle body connects with the engine just use couple of washers and it should fit just fine, but if it fits all the power to you.

The 2k1 and 2k2 engines are totally different and 2k1 do not have a problem with the part where the throttle body connects to the engine. There is no problem with the fit on the screws, only in that one area.

Well, a few cents worth of washers and a litle caution still beats the cost of something that is guaranteed to fit like the Stillen or new Cattman bar.

hey guys,

The bar is not thin at all, it is quite thick and very very strong. IT is 45mm , away bigger than the normal FSTB 30mm/35mm .

Nice finish, and the price.............CAN"T BEAT IT MAN!!

I think I am going buy some more stuff from this website, because they ship my FSTB right the way, I got it in 2 days after they charge my credit card. 2 thumbs UP

I have the Bomz one too. It is a perfect fit. Well, actually, I had to grind out the holes a bit because the bolts weren't lining up perfectly, but other than that it has been smooth sailing since day one.

I tightened mine to 35 lbs.

For some reason, you and the phrase "smooth sailing" just don't sound quite right.

Sorry dude, I had to say it1

But anyway, $35 and you can get a nice finish FSTB (I can it is same quality as the Stillen FSTB), this is a "Killer Price", and I seen some other website selling Bomz FSTB for around $65-$75 plus shipping fee. U do the math! So, I am so Happy with my New FSTB .

Let us know if it fits fine on the 2K2.

This is the same bar that used to be sold as a generic one a while back, in fact i set-up a group deal for a bunch of these almost a year ago. Remember *directcarparts* on E-Bay?

Anyway, yes it fits on a 2k2 as long as the bar is extended enough. Otherwise it'll hit the manifold and you'll hear grinding noises when going forward or revers.

For its price, there has to be some futzing around....or are they all like that no matter which brand or price you get?

Perfect Fit on 2K2

My BomZ fit perfectly on my 02 SE. Didn't rub or hit on anything. No washers needed. Seems to be well made. I've not noticed any flex or loosening. Very happy with the purchase (direct car parts through Ebay)

OUCH! One of the funniest things i've read was in the post about ur NOS bottle exploding. You said something to the effect of, "My fiancee is used to my disasters and didn't even flinch."

Good enough of a guarantee for me considering the price of the thing. On to my next worry... the new Cattman RSB I ordered. Hope it fits well.

This BOMZ bar looks exactly like the SWAW bar. I bet they are made by the same company.

As far as I can tell the '02 and '03 have the same layout so you shouldn't encounter any installation problems.

I got my BOMZ fstb a couple weeks ago but I haven't installed it yet. I tried to see if the holes would fit and they look like that they would but the bracket that holds the intake is on the way. It's nothing major, a little grinding would fix this problem.
