i got my maxima with Keyfob & security system, but not sure what the it protects ie. doors, hood, motion detection ... ??
can anyone elighten me

 

The alarm is quite basic. It protects the doors, hood , and trunk. If you want motion/shock protection, you can add a separate shock sensor. Any good stereo shop can add one. They can just tie it in to the hood switch wire. I would suggest one from DEI. The shop I work at uses them and reliability has been excellent.
