Warpspeed Y-pipe today!

Hey all!

Wow! after waiting all summer my warpspeed y-pipe came today. It looks pretty good, shipping weight was 14lbs. The pipe came with all gaskets, aluminum rolled ones and a machined channel to fit them in. It looks of pretty good quality, All welds are smooth and look good. I will try to get some pics up later. (not sure how to though). At any rate, it will be installed by me this saturday night. I will let you all know how it goes.

How much did you pay for the unit? Good luck on the install.

How long exactly did it take from the date you ordered it to the date you got it? Does this mean that if I'm looking to get one for installation in the spring, I should order one now?

Hey guys...
I actually emailed Warpspeed today and they answered back saying that they have a few stainless MIG welded Y-pipes ($275) and a few aluminized Y-pipes ($225) on hand as of today! They didn't say exactly how many they have but did say FedEx delivery is $15. If interested, call them at 866-801-9338 to order!

Sounds like availability changes based on demand and that they don't keep a huge inventory...

what is the difference b/t the mig welded and aluminized ones?
and isn't the tig welded suppose to be better or something like that?

Hey guys,

My pipe came after about 3 days from when I ordered it. It came fed-ex and looks pretty good. I hope to take some pics tonight. I have painted it with high temp paint so it is matte black now.

The difference is that the stainless steel will probably never corrode unlike the aluminum which will over some time...
