$45 American dollars? If "my Nissan shop" told me nonsense like that, they wouldn't be "my shop" for very long. Do you not have any Nissan dealers in your area? You can always mail order it from Courtesy for $3.99 but the shipping would make it more expensive than the local dealers.

Yes, $3.99 if you need touch-up paint. I'm assuming that's what you meant unless you have a quart-sized pinkie. Anyway, here's the link to what you need.

Let me know how the touch-up turns out. I too have a sterling mist. Silver paint is the hardest color to match.

as for the biggots...

I have used the Sterling Mist from CourtesyNissan.. The colors match ok for like trunk lining. But for like a chip somewhere on the body don't even put on the touchup.. The colors don't match right..

based on the result of your 'friend test' I would *definately* lodge a complaint with Nissan NA and your local BBB. If not for yourself, then for others who may not know they are doing this and pay it anyway..

Screw that dealer then. Go find another dealer, dont let them harass you if you really are being harrassed.
