VI changeover

Anyone ever mess with the VI or know when the VI kicks in? Has anyone ever experimented with the VI to have it kick in at a lower rpm to be in the short runners sooner?

Switchover occurs just a shade past 5k rpms. I think prior experimentation proved that that was pretty much the optimal point. You can tie it open with a zip-tie to see what happens as well .... your low end would suck, but see how it feels....

If you give me directions I'll try it out..don't want to break anything you know?

With that intake it feels like it isn't moving and the intake drones loudly and resonates into the cabin everytime the tranny shifts until the revs soar past 5,000rpms. If I can at least get it down to about 4,000-4,500rpms maybe I wouldn't have to wait for 1,000rpms (non-manual shift)-500rpms (manual shift) to get some power.

On a side note...did I get kicked out or something with my old SN?
