Did a search and could not find info on removing interior door handles? I'm installing chrome ones. Any info?

When my autobody friend needed to replace my side view mirror, he needed to get the door panel and stuff off. When he popped off the door panel, the door handle plastic part popped off too. That's probably the best way.

Hope this helps!

Removing door handles

Click on the Maxima.org banner. Click on Shoptalk. Click on Modifications or something like that. Then find the link for how to remove and install new door handles.
I've done this myself. Take this advice though, pop the little screw cover off that's inside the door cup (you know the slot you put your fingers in to pull the door shut). Unscrew the screw. Use a very dull flathead screw driver to shove a little in on one side and use the other hand or another dull flathead to apply a little pressure on the other side of the cup. Pull the cup up. Basically you just need to get the long sides of the cup pinched in so you can get it out. Sort of like some medicine bottles. Make sure you take the plastice piece off that goes around the handles. Take your flathead and stick it inside the space that is between it and the plastic curved piece that is behind the handle and go around the edges and pop it out gently. It will get a lot easier with each door. After that, take the door panels off by using your flathead around the edges. Unhook your inside door light and unscrew the window mechanism and you'll be able to take the panel off. And the instuctions explains everything also...
Hope this helps!
