I heard my friends were talking about Nissan is sueing BMW, something between Nissan Z cars and BMW Z3s....does anyone know?? or it happened a long time??

 

I guess they could, but I doubt it will go anywhere.

yes, they are threatening to sue (there's an article in a car magazine). Nissan's claim is "Z", which's Z anything. bwm's new ad campaign is something like "step into a Z...Z3 or Z6". However, Nissan never had any formal legal rights to "z3 or z6", that's why bmw's standing up for themselves. I think Nissan's pushing it, cuz it means they'd sue for Z06 too.
