Wire Loom Question

I am sure most of you are aware that on CustomMaxima.com they are selling the colored and chrome wire loom in both the 3/4" and 3/8" sizes. I want to cover all of the wires/hoses I can on my stock 2001 SE engine. The length of the 3/4" loom is 15 ft. and the length of the 3/8" loom is 20 ft. I would like to know from you experts who have already done this how many packs of each I will need. Thanks in advance for the help.

DON'T DO IT!

The dye bleeds everywhere. It bled all over my wiper fluid bottle and it is stained to this day. It also bled all over my hands, hood, bumper, and front fenders when I was installing it. It took FOREVER to clean off.

Also, you have to crack the big pieces in half to get them on. There will be a white line down the entire middle of the loom from you having to do this.

Waste of money. Total garbage.

Has anyone else had this happen? Now I am confused as to whether I should even bother. Perhaps the chrome will look better and not bleed though it is more expensive. More thoughts?

i was thinking about the woven steel stuff

(comes in other colors, and just silver)

i thot it looked a little "tougher" than plastic wire loom stuff, might hold the color better. they have it at schucks, etc.

not quite as cheap as the wire loom, but still within my mod budget so can't be that much

Leave your engine bay alone. I wish I had.
