I just got my v2 blower installed today. Everything runs great as expected. I'm still using the stock Bosch BOV. I bought the SS Blitz BOV but couldn't figure how to install it. On the 4thgen's the Blitz BOV just bolts right onto the flange. Does anything have the Blitz SS BOV installed on their 5thgen V2 setup. How did you mount and install it? I really want the pssshhhhh sound

I know you won't so here's the answer: You have to cut off the stem where the Bosch recirculation valve is connected, then buy a Blitz steel BOV flange ($25-35), then weld it at the point where you cut off the stem. You should paint the flange and welds to prevent rusting.

about the BOV...I heard BLitz should fit right onto it. I bought the Greddy BOV from the previous owner so I couldnt provide more info.

 

That's only for the lucky 4th gen folks. I checked, the tube is too small to accept a BOV, and it has no mounting points.

I used HKS w/my V2 setup and it worked fine!!! BTW guys, I'm selling my V2 & Intercooler setup! Check out the parts for sale forum for details...

So then which one can I just plug and play for our setup without having to weld any flanges on? Or there is no way other then that.

I did a search on summit racing and found 2 flanges for the Blitz BOV.

The SC feels awesome.. I didn't get a chance to fully tune it get so I don't know if I'm loosing vacumn/psi for boost. No gauges yet, gonna install them on Mon. I'm running the 3.33. I'm still breaking it in but I took a quick trip from NY to CT and on 95 I just let it open. Damn, it's amazing. The pick-up and pull I now get is awesome

 

You have a completely different setup than ours, that's not a stock mounting location for anything on the V2 .

I just put an order in for the Blitz Aluminum Flange... I'll head to a shop this weekend. I guess basically I just have them cut off the stem that you had in the pic. Then just weld the flange over the whole where the stem was cut off? Do I have to do anything with the other hoses?

It should be a steel flange! The SC pipe is steel, so you weld steel to steel. Aluminum might not weld well to the steel pipe.

When you remove the Bosch recirculation valve, you can use the vacuum line attached to it and connect that to the BOV. The Bosch valve normally routes into the intake pipe, and there's a stem where it connects. You can see it in the image, next to the red positive terminal cap. On my setup, they cut off the stem and welded a piece of steel over the hole. You may not want to do this if you plan to sell the SC without the BOV. Once that stem is cut off, you can't reconnect the Bosch valve (well, you can, but then it releases air to the atmosphere instead of back into the intake).
