Loading CD Changer--In dash

Maybe this is posted somewhere but I cant find anything....I just got a 2001 SE and the options listing says the car has a cd changer/stacker, but the car has no operators manuel. Is there somewhere I could find instructions on how to load this, or can any of you guys here help me figure out how to load this cd changer?? Thanks for any info...

possible help

I have an 02 with the bose in dash cd system. There is button labeled load and then you hit one of the 6 select buttons. The system will show WAIT and then the slot will open up and it will say INSERT. You can hold down the load button and it will consecutively load all 6 in a row. Hope this helps.

You might also want to search for a thread on on-line owner's manuals. You can probably download the 01 owner's guide and find what you are looking for.

Since you have a 2001, there most likely isn't a CD changer that came with your car. The only place to check would be the trunk on the left hand side since it's the factory mounting place and where the dealer would have installed it had your car come with one. I'm assuming that you have the premium radio or Bose since you have an SE, so you should have a "CD/CHG" button on your radio. With the OEM changer (which can be ordered from Courtesy Parts or from Dave Burnette at Town North (800) 251-7278) you can use this button for your changer. Loading it would be the normal magazine (in a cartridge) style and not the "slot" in-dash style of the newer 02 and 03 Maximas.
