Koni Question

I'm thinking of getting the AGX's in the front and Konis in the rear. Do the rear 4th gen Konis have to be modified as well?

Are you sure you don't mean Konis in Front and 4th gen AGXs in the REAR?

That might be the IDEAL setup, but nobody has tried it.

What a pair of Koni shocks and AGX struts cost?

ah...mixing struts...someone did it before with AGX rear and Tokicos front. I heard the ride was funny b/c from is too stiff and rear is too soft. But with adjustable Koni and AGX....u might figure out an ideal setting for you. Adjusting rear Koni will no be easy. You have to take it off, turn it and put it back on. then test drive.

let us know how it goes

Koni fronts require the same upper shock

mounting plate replacement the AGXs need because they are engineered for the Gen4s; they are a direct fit on the rear because the Gen4 rears are exactly the same as the Gen5 rears.

Now, that said it begs the question: if you are thinking of going the AGX route in the front -hence you'll need to replace the upper shock mounting plate anyway- why not go Konis all the way around? In other words, why do u wanna mix instead of match?
