thx one thing i know i have to drill or add is the sensor for the oustide temp that is located on the top of the dash opposite to the light sensor, not that i really care what the temp is outside but well see.

It needs all of the temp sensors or it won't function properly. It takes them all into account. Why do you have to drill an opening? Is there not a tiny grill-like opening to the right of the steering wheel near where your keys would be in the ignition?

I would like to know as well...how much you paid for the digital climate control assembly? Doesn't it come together with a BOSE headunit (faceplate) as one?

You know Dario...with all the money us GXE guys are spending on SE parts, we shoulda bought SE's in the first place! But good luck on installing that digital climate control, should be sweet if you can get it working.

well guys i only paid 60 bucks for the unit itself and what the hell might as well give it a shot. my thinking is if they put the wiring in for the fogs and gauge swap why not for the rest, right???? and yeah i might as well have gotten an SE but hey the GXE was cheaper. as for making that hole i was talking about the external temp sensor which should be located on the top of the dash passenger side. thx for the support guys and ill let u all know how it turns out with pics and a write up.

You're referring to the sunload sensor. There should already be a "plug" there that would just pop out, at least I would think. Maybe you could find that strip of plastic with the holes already there at the junk yard or something. I'm not sure how the drilling will turn out for that sensor has to pop into place (I took mine out once). Just a thought.
