Well, sorry. I guess it depends on how you "price" the mods and when you spent the money. I'm assuming you reused some parts from your old Maxima/I30. For anyone else, your setup would cost ~$1500 not including the lighter rims.

95 manifold and gasket ~$100-120?
intake ~$180-200
y-pipe ~$280-350
UDP, belts, seal ~$220
RT cat ~$200
Greddy exhaust ~$500

Total: $1480-1590

My point to all this was not to knock you or your car, it was to show that the CL-S with less money in mods is just as quick as a modded 6 speed Maxima. If you insist on keeping a chip on your shoulder, so be it.

Dave

Are those retail or wholesale??

You sure it was 6 speed CLS, not an Auto ??

You have to really be GOOD to race with stick shift, so you can't really compare which car is faster...

From what I heard CLS 6 speed and Maxima 6 speed are pretty close, and its hard to say which one is faster.

follow the posted link,a cl-s 6 speed dyno's 247.6hp and 211.3 lb/ft
with headers, cai intake, pulley and spark plugs ,a 6 speed maxima with the same intake i have dyno's around 213.8hp and 230.7 Ib/ft , from a stop i should've been able to at least keep up if not beat him ,he'd own me top end definetly of course i don't have a y-pipe yet

Ha, well I bought a 95 maxima header out of a junk yard, cost me $45 shipped, anyone could do that.

Header and gasket $52
Intake: cost
Y-pipe: $340
UDP: $155 (group deal) belt, $12
RT cat: $145 (group deal)
Greddy exhaust: $450 (group deal)

Beyond the deal on the intake anyone could do this for about $1200.. Just admit that your wrong as usual Quit the ignorant remarks and I won't have to keep replying to you.. Ohh and give me a 2.09 60' like the fastest NA CL-S(13.9) did and I would be in the 13.5 second range. I think that makes me a good bit faster.

Ohh and I used stock rims on my 13.8 run(not exactly "lighter").

Most people don't get their parts from junkyards, group deals, or free intakes. The truth is you spent $1250. If it was anyone else, they would have had to spend a lot more. I guess you were blind to this statement I made earlier:

Oh and please excuse me that I didn't know your runs weren't on your aftermarket rims. I also didn't know how much you weigh or what you ate for breakfast the day you ran the 13.8. Does that make me even more "ignorant" and "intelligent"?

You just don't quit do you? You constantly talk about me and spread false information. I corrected you and now your all upset? I'm no longer going to argue with you, as a moderator I have to avoid conflicts. Just be for warned.. if you say false things about me or my car you can expect to be corrected. If you don't like it it's just to bad. This disscussion is over.
