Richard is on his way to speak to his source. He'll let us know soon enough. I don't doubt Richard's skills in getting his way.

I might be able to get somethign going on a Tein Coil-over set, shipped at less than $1100. I want to see if the guy can do group buy pricing based upon quantity. If so, I'll start something up in the group buy section.

I've heard that Tein is comparable to JIC in terms of quality. However, Tein is $600+ less in MSRP.

The Teins are very nice from what I understand, but they do differ in some areas. Foremost, The Teins allow for ride height adjustment by way of adjusting the spring perch level. The reduces suspension travel which is probably not a big deal since the Tein strut is made for it. Also, becuase the spring perch adjusts ride height, you don't have the ability to preload the springs for fine tuning of the spring rate. Again this probably doesn't matter much, but is a consideration nonetheless. I'm assuming the Teins come with camber plates built in, but the site doesn't say so, so this may be another benefit of the JICs. All in all, I would imagine that for most, one could go either way. However, it does appear that the JICs offer some more adjustablity over the Teins. I guess the real question is, is what the JICs offer worth the extra $$$? I can say this much, the JICs look to be a very well made product.
