JIC magic coilovers

Any 5th Gen guys running this setup?

http://www.jic-magic.com/suspension/flta2.asp

I am happy with the power of my 02, but the suspension is
way too soft. They list it $1900 anyone got it cheaper than
that?

The JICs are the best available for the Maxima. But if you are just going to drive on the street and a track day or two then don't waste your money. Go buy some Eibachs or H&Rs and some Dampers and you will be fine.

I was going to get the same combo as I just suggested but with the Stillen cambers plates but in total the cost was only a little cheaper then the JICs so I bought them.

I already have the Blitz SBC-iD. I bought it before Jeff introduced you to me. Let's hope Jeff doesn't blow up his tranny with that Supra motor.

it's included in the package that we put together for him

so... now we are discussin of BPU (basic performance upgrades)
and it's a VVTI 2JZ-GTE Woooohooo
BPU will give him at least 420-460RWHP

Do you mind quoting a price for the JICs?

I really really want them, but it will be awhile. However, I did just get that 0% APR CC.

jeff is getting a supra tranny as part of the package..
actually that engine that he's getting is from a jdm 2000 toyota aristo vertex edition.. the next step is BPU (basic perfomance upgrade) and that will put him in the 420-450rwhp mark!!!
woohoo

I see... didn't know he was getting the tranny too. That's a great price for what he's getting. I heard they bought a lift just to work on his car.

When will your JICs be rolling? I know Turtle loves them, but I'd really like to know your opinion and how to adjust/align them.

I'm gong to be if the GD price is much better than what I paid. I should be getting mine next week though, so hopefully that will make me feel better. Do you have an idea on what the GD price would be around?

The JICs will be rolling when the turbo installation is complete. Give me a week or two. Front alignment is just like the Stillen camber plates. You need to bring the car to a shop to get it aligned correctly.

Knowing Kev, I'd bet he's taking advantage of the 400-800rpm faster spool up of the Ball Bearing center section to go BIGGER.

However, I only found a T-61 compressor map and it's MORE than capable of exceeding the stock internals.

Kev has bigger plans for that setup, he's just giving us an appetizer.

Ok...I definitely will. I'm just going to wait to see how much modification is necessary to fit that engine and transmission.

Definitely post those pics.

That setup is PEEEEERFECT in my book! Good looks, brakes, handling, and now the missing ingredient, REAL power.

I'd shoot for 5, but if you can get a much lower price for 10, go ahead and list it, but I doubt it would happen. Too many "you don't auto-X race, therefore it's a waste of money", jealous peeps.

here's an idea on how ice300 is300 may look like..

It currently has HKS 2835 Twin Turbos, an experimental dual MAF setup, 264 cams, 850cc injectors, Triple in-tank pumps, Greddy 3row FMIC, Greddy 16row Oil Cooler, HKS SS-BOV, ACPT 3.75" Carbon Fiber Driveshaft, S-AFC, AVC-R, Apex-i Guages, NOS single fogger, etc.

The last dyno pull it has made was at 2bar and a 70shot producing 765rwhp and 630ft-lbs. Not bad for a luxury car!

and this is his old SC300.. he's building a 97 SC300..

T67 or T70 would be nice, but it's just too big for what the motor is capable of withstanding (unlike the Supra motor)... maybe when I have a built motor...... hmmmmm.......

For a number ask for 5 and 10. 5 is probably a nice goal... 10 would be awesome.
