Be prepared to CUSS like a sailor.

I hope you have strong fingers. OR are not as tall as I am trying to bend over - - Upside down.

Get a good heat gun, or hair dryer and MAKE POSITIVILY SURE you warm the rubber up and get it "manageable" before attempting.

If you really want to go all out, fill the accel pedal like I did, makes it look much better. That in combination with the sailor talk will keep you warm

I would suggest a small, flat head screw driver. One that is big enough not to bend. But small enough to allow you to put it between the rubber and the metal. And of course, soaking the AE brake pedal in hot water before trying to put it on.

D'oh! I wish I would have seen your post earlier. I thought you had probably already gotten the accelerator off. I had more trouble figuring that out than anything. Finally I realized (after almost busting that white thing to pieces) that you pull the white tab backward through the hole in the metal at the top of the accelerator. This is a horrible explanation. But, I am sure <you> get what I am talking about. It would be nice if that were mentioned somewhere. Maybe an addition to the "how to".

I hope your hands are alright. Mine were cut to sh$t after messing with the gas pedal. But, they look good!

It's definitely not a fun job. But, I bet you like the outcome. I think they look great. As does my girlfriend. Which tends to dislike every mod for the first couple of days or so. Then warms up to some of them.
