Window Motor is going...
Anyone have any experience installing a new passenger side window motor?? Mine is starting to slow down a bit, just like the rear one that was replaced 6 months ago. My car is out of warranty, so I stuck replacing it. I am going to call my dealer monday and b*tch. A 2 year old car should have the window motor go out. I am getting tired of this POS I have.

the motors arent prone to burn out, but the tracks are prone to get sticky and dirty -causing the motor to go. Park under any trees?

Not-so-slippery tint film rubbing against a dry runner can put stress on the motors. Spray silicone on the window seals and runners every few months. Be careful not to overspray onto paint or plastic.

I forgot to mention that after they changed the rear passenger window switch the second time, a few months later it stopped working again. I am have been meaning to come in and have this fixed. Three times broken in only 2 years? The rest of the car has been fine.

Oh yeah excuse me for my ignorance, but how do you get the silicone on the runners? Do you have to take the door panels off?
