Headlight Problem on a 2K - Help and Ideas Please
I just replaced the headlight harness on a friends 2k Maxima because they were all melted from Nokya bulbs. After wiring the new harness up and turning the lights on the low beams work but when I try to turn on the High Beams the light goes dim. Any ideas?
Remember on the H4 harnesses there are 3 wires. Two are switched grounds and the other is the shared 12V.
As long as you wired it correctly you should not have a problem. All I can say is that use a volt meter and make sure you wired it correctly cause it seems like you have not wired it correctly.

All I can say is, keep on trying til you get the right wires..
why wire harness did you use? i did a search about a month ago for "harness" and discovered that cheapy harnesses suck. Maybe u got one of the inferior ones? btw, my Mtec 80/100 9004 bulbs haven't fried the stock harness yet. The Noks aren't even overwatted like the Mtecs are...dunno why your harness melted?
