clear side marker help

clear side marker help

its foggy inside the rear side marker, do you guys know of any way you can clean that up? or do you have to open the damn thing??

I think taking it apart is your only bet. Did you seal the edges with silicone before installing? If not, try that next time around.

yea i used so much silicone on it too...
i don't know how it got in...well anyways, any more suggestions?

If you put the silicone on, maybe some moisture got in where the bulb base is twisted in? I was surprized that mine needed to be turned about 3/4 of a full turn before they were tight. The gasket/washer did not seal tight until that point.

On page one of the 5th gen forum (this one) there are a few threads marked "sticky" at the top of page one. One of those contains How To's...page one of the thread has a list of all of the how to's.
