Whats the definition of too hard? My RE92s would hydroplane at 70 mph on the highway.

I can't answer your question, MAX2000JP. I don't tend to drive 70 mph on the highway in the rain.

Unfortunately there are a number of us who do...because unless we do, WE become the danger to other traffic running on better tires and trying to get around some dumb-a$$ Max that can't get out of its own way in the rain. Hence the voting difference.

I guess a lot depends on where you live, jjs. I live in Southern California. For the most part, everybody slows down on the highways when it rains because, as you've probably heard, no one knows how to drive in the rain in Southern California. Or maybe we're just smarter than those who trust their tires more than they trust the laws of physics.

Nope, people can't drive for crap here in TX either. Having lived for 26 years in Ohio (the snowbelt part) I am continually amazed at how they can't drive here unless it is bone dry. Thing is, they don't know they can't drive so they keep plowing along.
