Hardwired my Passport

It took me a little longer than expect, but it looks really nice.

Use proper tools. A Leatherman is not the proper tool for this job, but it will work for the impatient. :

Remove sunglass holder. Remove driver side visor. Remove drivers side A pillar. Remove two screws on the lower part of the dash. Remove two screws on the top of the gauge cluster. Run telephone wire part of the hardwire kit through handy hole behind rearview, leaving ample play in cord. Run under headliner and down A pillar. Replace sunglass holder, visor and a pillar. Use dull screw driver to gently pry open lowerdash. Hide cables under steering column. Pull gauge cluster out enough to fit remote display under. Mine sits to the right of the gauge cluster where the "set" light is for cruise control. Use Mounting Putty to affix remote display to guage cluster. Strip ends of power cable. Feed cable to fuse box area. Attach ground to one one of the bolts in the fuse box area that is part of the chassis. I used the 15 amp fuse for ACC as my power feed. </Braindump>

I'll take pics soon if anybody wants to see it. I think it looks great. I'll also have pics of my addco "ghetto fabulous" sway bar soon as well, you guys will get a kick out of it.
