Hi, I am new to this site and would like to say Hi to all the Maxima fans. I own a Super Black, 5sp, 2000 SE. I really love the car but I would like to start adding some mods to it. First off I want an exhaust system, so does anyone have a recommendation on a system and the way the sound.

I heard that the MAX's have a great exhaust note when opened up...is that true? I hope so. I heard that HKS is selling a system for the 2k Maxs, does anyone know anything about the system and what it costs, and well as where it buy one. Thanks for the help...laters.

Welcome, Trunks.

Go to the upper right hand corner of this page and click on "search". Then do a search on the keyword "exhaust". That'll definitely keep you busy for awhile.

Have fun.

For a quick start, you probably want to start with a "Y" pipe (aka "down pipe", among other things). It is the best bang for the buck. Cattman (http://www.cattman.com) and Stillen (http://www.stillen.com) make these.

As y2kse said, the best solution is to perform a "search" to get all aspects of exhaust modifications.

Welcome!
