Ok...Gotta Ask...

Isn't the Budget Ypipe $160.00? Why wouldn't I just get that?

Have you seen one? They don't have near the quality of the Cattman, especially where it counts, the flex section.

Whether or not there is a performance difference, NOBODY knows, yet!

So, if your on a TIGHT budget, get the budget. If you want top quality and you have $350-375 to spend, you can't go wrong with the Cattman.

However, if OBX finally offers the shorty headers/Y-pipe combo for $300-350ish, I'm all over that bish.

Wow, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. I had a Cattman SS pipe on my 97 for a little over two years. The flex section was horrible, it collapsed like other peoples have. I didn't know about these problems until I took off my Stillen catback, I guess it was muffling the horrible sound.

I installed my budget y-pipe about three?four? months ago and it is perfect. I got all my power back, the flex section is TWICE the length the (two year old) Cattman was the flanges are VERY sturdy. I couldn't be happier.

Somebody on the forums (Dave B with the 4th gen I think) dyno'd I think a Cattman ypipe against his Budget NON MANDREL ypipe...search for the results.

Cattman Gen II Y-pipe, NOT Gen I.

There is NO comparison, QUALITY and DURABILITY wise, Cattmans' new Y-pipe is far superior.

Like I said, nobody.
