Because 2 responses bringing attention to the uselessness of this is MUCH MORE worthy of bandwidth than letting it proceed endlessly.

All this kind of crap does is cause unnecessary posting on a large scale, taking up server space and more to the point for everyone on the .org, including those of us 'not interested' it contributes to the server being busy and tying the whole place up!!! As such, I am VERY INTERESTED if it gets in the way of being able to navigate the forum as a whole.
