I need someone's input that has had experience pullnig the rear spoiler off of a Gen V. I removed all of the nuts from under the trunk, but they spoiler would not bulge despite putting a little muscle on it. Is that thing also glued on, or ???!!!???

I want to insert various sizes of spacers to see if I can raise the stock unit an inch or two without it looking too dorky by having too much of a gap showing.

Please help at your earliest!

 

I would recommend leaving it alone. There will be a gap.

 

What color is your car? If you have the same color as me I'M INTERESTED IN BUYING IT!

 

Find a car thats the same color and just swap out the lid. Theres like 4-5 screws total.

If your car is the same color as mine, i'll switch you lids. I have a 2001 GXE with no spoiler.

 

I don't think he is selling--he wanted to raise it off the deck...

 

Spacers will make it look terrible.

I do not care what anyone recommends (other than how to get it off the car, I am not going to sell it, and I am not going to swap it.
