Continuing Brake Problems

Over this past year I have encountered alot of steering wheel shimmy while braking from above 60mph. I had the rotors turned and a new set of pads installed, but the problem continues unabated. Has anyone else encountered similar problems and resolved them. I run 245 X 50 tires on the stock 16 inch rims on my 2000 Gen V. Has anyone had this problem due to tire balancing?

Damnnnn man ...... I think you're nuts to run 245 wide tire on 6.5" wide rim.

Heck, I do not recall noting my mental status on my post. However, if you look up the Goodyear Eagle HP on TireRack, the tire data will reflect they fit. In addition, having had wide tires on wide wheels in the past, I now have forty thousand miles on the tires with some serious cornering without the edges worn off of them, so I will never go back despite the looks.

Last, but not least, the rolling diameter remains relatively the same with little or no impact to the speedometer or ECU.

it might be that the rotors are warped again, also the tires need to be rebalanced. It happened to me recently.

So my tires were rebalanced at 38k(current), and 30k.

Now since I have brake shimmy again, its time for lemon law. I cant stands no more. I have a starting issue, which hasnt been fixed.

I will post the results, prob around march 03

I've brought my car in to two different places a dozen times, and every time they do something different, hand me back the car, and say its fixed...it never is. Keep us all posted on your progress with the starting thing.
