Has anyone installed a hud in thier maxima? How much work does it involve and would i beable to install it myself?I think this would be a great add on because I'm always driving too fast without realizing it.

 

I always thought those things were pretty cool... sorta. I'm curious too if someone did this.

 

I was thinking about it, but I hate those stickers you gotta put in your windshield. Plus, none of the ones available look very sharp, IMO.

 

I noticed it is not an option apparantly on the 5th Gen max. I was reading the manual (dont aske me why) from my 93 3rd gen max and saw that it was a possible option. Yeah. I have always wanted one of these. Is it possible on ours? I have no clue. But would like to know.

 

Mach V Motorsports, I found this from a google site, sells a HUD for turbo boost for $259.00. Its a kit that you install. Sounds pretty interesting. It also showed pictures of it on the windshild. There are probable others out there that have kits that display other information.

 

DEFI has HUD with RPM/Speed also...check them out Defi gauges.
