Hi everybody,

I have a technical question, maybe someone exprerienced the same thing.
I have 2002 Maxima SE. Lately, I started hearing strange buzzing noise that appears to come from the left side of the car or engine (I can't really say). The noise appears only when I accelerate, it's especially loud when the engine is cold.
It does not appear every time, only sometimes.

Could be the motor mounts.. Is it a mechanical type of buzzing?

 

To me it sounds more like electrical type of buzzing. It's as if you are standing near high-voltage line or something.
Motor mounts would usually produce clutching sound, wouldn't they?
