hey kev, 2000maximaSE, or adam, tells me to ask you because ur a mod addict... well i was wondering, how kan i get my acceleration times down.. by maybe 1-2 second range?? ne ideas?? do they make flywheels for maximas?? how bout the stillen intake... are u sure it gives more HP then the stock variable capacity muffler?? i just want my car to bump its hp up and accelerate maybe as fast as a 330.. doubt it'll happen tho.. wanna race those.. hehe

1 to 2 seconds?!?!? You'll need at least a 75 shot nos system, or 50 shots plus the supercharger.

Do you have an auto? If you do, get a valvebody recalibration and a torque converter. A tranny swap with an I30t would also help (which should be possible). If you have a manual, try asking these other guys.

The intake takes in air, which is different than the muffler which the exhaust goes through. Cone intake or cold air intake... those are your choices. Dyno testing proved very smiliar hp increase, but dyno's can't simulate real airflow.

Muffler... wait for the GReddy system because you seem like you want performance. Hopefully it'll be a cat-back system (b pipe + muffler).

If you want to go faster, get a y pipe. There's a big discussion going on about how long your engine will last if only one of the precats was removed. Look in this forum and you'll find it.

An auto transmission already has a torque converter....I think he means an upgraded or stronger torque converter. By getting a stronger TC, you increase it's stall speed. Which will then allow you to launch at a higher rpm while brake torqueing. Als, a stronger TC will reduce the amount of power loss in an auto tranny. As is, the TC is acting as the 'clutch' for your auto transmission. It is hydraulic as opposed to mechanical. TC's are not cheap. Check out http://www.levelten.com . They rebuild TC's and sell other transmission parts.
