Well, if he gets a five speed he may be able to take the Impala in a race if he is an awesome driver, but other than that it's all Maxima, same perf. w/ a Max5spd, and better gas milage, and IMO the Maxima loox way better than an ImpalaSS! Hell my cars an auto and i could keep up with an impala SS from a rolling 40 all the way to 110, had to slow b/c of merging traffic But if performance is not his thing then the GLE would be his best bet, IMO way more Luxurious than the Chevy. Get the MAx man~!!

depends what type of weather you get, but he'll be all over the place when it rains and leave it in the garage when it snows. The rear wheel drive and all that torque need dry pavement bad!!!

Tell your brother the Impala is about as advanced as a tractor.

reason to buy max

...there's a reason the caprice chassis is dead and just look at the current namesake for the impala. I can't even conceive of the two cars being in the same class. I've owned GM and I've owned Toyota (Lexus), Ford, and Nissan. I'll never go back to a GM product. I have a 93 Max SE 5spd and '01 Max SE AE 5 spd. If he ever drives one, he'll wonder what in the world he could have been thinking about an impala.
