Frankencar intake install questions.. (long)
Following are instructions on how to install frankencar intake from the website. I looked at the pictures but they provided very little for the novice diyourselfer. I'm interested in buying the intake but the instructions are in a foreign language to me.
2. Unclip the lines in the holders on the airbox. What are the "lines in the holders"
3. Loosen the clamp on the MAF. Where is the MAF, what does it look like?
6. Place the MAF and o-ring off to the side carefully. What is the "o-ring" and where's it located?
7. Disconnect the breather line from the resonator box. Where is the "breather line" and what does it look like, and where is the "resonator box"?
8. Disconnect the two smaller vacuum/breather lines. Where are these two lines at?
9. Loosen the clamp on the Throttle body and pull the rest off. Where is the "throttle body" at and what does it look like?
11. See the wire loom that holds the postive battery cable, CAREFULLY with a sharp knife cut the tape open and split it open so you can pull out slack for the Air Temperature Sensor. There is also a clip that you can pop open to get more slack, it's attached the the body of the car. What does the "wire loom" look like? Pull out "slack of the air temp sensor"? What does the air temp sensor look like and where's it at? What "clip"
12. Remove the Air Temp Sensor from the Scoop AND THE Rubber Fitting.
What is the "scoop"
15. Using the STOCK MAF bolts, attach the adapter to the MAF and tighten in a criss cross pattern, make sure the o-ring is in there. Where's the "adapter"?
17. Insert the tube into the rubber coupler on the Throttle body side and clamp it down. What is the "tube"?
Any help would be appreciated, or even better, directions to novice friendly instructions.

Just my .02.
What I would suggest is take the directions and go out to your car and look under the hood. It should help make a little more sense. To install a Frankencar, you remove all the oem intake right up to the throttle body. Be sure to disconnect the MAF carefully (a black plastic tube with electrical wires coming out of it). If you need pics of how mine looks or what I took out I still have them and could get you pics if you want, just shoot me a pm with your email add.
