Can someone do us 4th gens a favor....

Can one of you guys take some decent digi cam pics of your engine bay, I need the intake manifold area only....possibly some close up shots of the sides and everything that plugs into it. Thanks a bunch....oh and if we could get an engine without all the wire loom stuff too so I can see better what leads where.

2k or 2k1...doesnt matter if its stock or not..Just need some decent shots of the intake manifold area. Its top secret..lol

You probably want to look at Fed-spec manifold... less stuff connected to it from what I've seen (at least with VIAS etc.)

If you want a Fed-spec you have to look at a 2000 since all 2001s are Cali spec.

To confirm: 2000 SE/Auto fed spec pics are at home on the camera. I did not get your response last nite but will email them to you tonite after work. I am on a dial-up at home so if there is a prob with the pics drop me a line and let me know. Please forgive the dirt... we got snow and salt around here...

I've already measured. The 2K1 manifold sits one foot three inches up from the lowest point in the valley. The 97 manifold sits only one foot from the lowest point in the valley. The hood of the 97 would hit the top of the 2k1 manifold if installed on the 97. This is without a doubt. I have pics of all the details and including the ones of the tape measure.
