"do you hear any noises at all, at any speed, on bumps anything, in or out of the car. And does it ever bottom out, meaning do you hit the bump stops, did you trim them(bumpstops) at all, and just how low from factory did you lower it." I see that JIC suggest only going 2 inches, thats not shat for coilovers.
ANything else you have to say about the quality, feel on or off the road, install anything at all you feel pertinate.
1. There are absolutely no noises coming from the coilovers what so ever at any speeds and any size dips or bumps.
2. It has never bottomed out you do not trim bumpstops you simply just do your install. Adjust them to the recommended setting as a starting point. The starting point sits at the stock height the car came with. And then measure the distance you want to drop the car. After this JIC recommends you drive the car for at least 20 miles to let the springs settle into the perch. After you have driven the car you can adjust the spring rate or simply set it so there is zero play on the spring and the collars. Then adjust ride height measure the distances with a caliper.
3. With the JIC coilovers you can lower the car allot more than 2" and still attain the full travel of the strut but it is limited to the wheel well another words the tires will rub obviously if set to low. Also JIC will tell you lower is not always better as my car sits now the front is approx. 4.5" off the ground measured from the bottom of the front lip.
4. The ride is excellent very very streetable not harsh at all like some would have you believe however you can make the dampening extreme obviously by giving the strut allot of clicks. One other notable thing is JIC designed the front assembly to use an inverted strut they claim it is a more linear design a good thing is Tein also offers the front struts inverted only on there most expensive coilovers so it must be true. Another thing to note is the fact that Tein only uses a 40mm and 45mm twin tube design on the most expensive coilovers while JIC uses a minimum 36mm twin tube on the cheaper SF-1 and SA-1, on the FLT-A2 they use only 40mm or 45mm twin tube.

Where can one get the JIC Magic FLT-A2 for a good deal? I know Avalon Racing sells JIC products, but from the looks of things, they want retail, which is just crazy. I'm really leaning toward these, but I really don't want to assaulted on the price.
I bought mine from Avalon and didn't pay retail, but I also bought almost everything else I have from him. Talk to Paul and work out a deal.
