Sterling Mist needs 17x8

Folks, i think i'm gonna get some wider 17" rims so i can run some 235/45 and not have to pay $900+ for pilot sports. Only problem is the only rims i've seen that i like for my sterling mist are the tantrums (and yup...looked at the evo5's...great to look at, dont't think i wanna buy). I want something nice, not overstated or overly flashy. don't care about weight but they gotta be 17x8. Appreciate the input.

how are the highways where you are? i live in NYC and driving on the LIE with the 17X8 is horrible, you get sucked into the trucks grooves in the roads so easily... so much that you have to fight the wheel

good lookin out on the link, but i saw that post and don't much care for the rims. and only one of the 3 is 17x8.

The roads are decent....nowhere near as bad as the LIE (was on it once in '97 and it sucked). How much worse can the ride be w/ the wider shoes than riding on my boy's 18's?

Without a doubt, the price is right! Keep in mind that you'll need to purchase a set of hubcentric rings to mount the rims properly.

Nope. But my guess is they'd look great . . . particularly for the price.
