Aftermarket Filter Test Comparison

I found this comparison test on the internet. Forgive me if this has already been posted. A test was conducted on several aftermarket filters including the Apexi filter, measuring HP gains and filtration characteristics. To sum it up the Apexi filter won hands down. It also did a pretty job of air filtration compared to the other filters. If this test holds true, then why are so many people experiencing MAF failures using Apexi filters? For those who don't know, Apexi filters are not oiled. Here's the link to the article:
