Whelen Strobe kit...where to mount in HID's....

havent' ordered them yet, but if possible, where the hell would i be able to mount them in the housing. any 2k2/2k3ers out there attemp this yet. if so, a pic or 2 to show me what you did....thanx guys.

Most people end up taking the 2k2 High beam bulb out and putting the strobe bulb in there. That is the only place you can put it without issues.

Otherwise you need to drill a nice 1" hole and most likely end up seeing the strobe bulb from the outside. It wont fit in the turn signal area either.

personally

Personally i drilled from the top, in the high beam sides of the headlamp assemblies. I regret it now... eh what can I say .. I was a young silly kid...

My fault, I was only recommending that on a 2k2 headlight assembly, not the standard 2k-2k1 assembly
