just had a car alarm installed

I got a clifford concept 100 aka intelliguard6000 for $300 installed. Is that a good deal? Install seems pretty good but noticed my leather seats had red/black smudges on the front edges ....not sure if that's been there before the install.
Several cons about the system so far:
1/ The siren sounded weak, my cheaper Hornet system(in '97 max) sounded much louder, I barely could hear the chirping noise. I wonder if i can swap sirens even though they're differnt brand.

2/Remote unlock seems to hesitate a few seconds before finally unlocking car.

Not sure about the install price.

1. What kind of siren did the installer use? It should have been the Clifford Medallion siren, which to me is quite loud. I also have air horns in conjunction with the siren.

2. This is normal on the Cliffords, due to the way the Maxima door locks work. I have a 2 second delay I think.
