Question about 6-speed clutch TSB.

6-speed clutch TSB.
I am still debating if I should do that 6-speed clutch TSB that suppose to fix that squealing noise when starting form first or reverse gears.
I know many people had it done and they say it fixed the problem, but also some people said that they had more problems with 6-speed tranny after that TSB was done and/or that noise came back after some miles.
I am just wondering how many people had that TSB done and are happy with the results?
Thanks.

They might have fixes it for 2003, but who knows. Mine was fine when the car was brand new, then after some miles it started making that noise.

Danny,
I had the TSB performed on my car. I definitely recommend it. The TSB resolves a few issues:
1. The howling sound goes away.
2. Clutch feel is dramatically improved.
3. Clutch pedal engagement point is lowered relative to previous position.
A few things to watch out for:
1. Try to get the dealer to save the OEM tranny fluid and reuse it after the install is completed. It is VERY hard to find a dino based GL-4 spec tranny fluid. After my repair, the dealer used a GL-5 spec 80W-90 fluid which was not good. I then replaced with Amsoil Synthetic GL-4 compatible synthetic and I am getting some grinding of synchros when the tranny is cold. The best bet is to re-use the OEM Nissan dino 75W-90 tranny fluid.
2. Make sure they also replace the pressure plate and throw out bearing at the same time.
3. If they say they will also replace the flywheel, you can get this done too, just make sure that they use the "alignment tool" to make absolutely certain that the flywheel is properly aligned on the crankshaft. The flywheel has a magnetic markings on it. If the flywheel is not "aligned" relative to the crankshaft position, then the crankshaft position sensor will get incorrect readings and your car will run like crap.
4. Try to get the old parts back just in case you decide later that you want to put in a performance clutch, you could get the pressure plate and the disc rebuilt with high performance components . . .
Good luck!

In my car the noise occur only for the first 15-30 min of driving.
(When the clutch pedal is released)
But Im also thinking, should I go to my dealer next thursday ,or should
I wait until the problem get worst,or maybe will go away.
If is safe to drive with this ? (TSB -NTB02084)

I'm presuming your concern is that they may break something. Clutch replacements are pretty straightforward and most shops can do this without causing further difficulties.
