Ive been searching around on the org for someone that have done a 5 spd conversion and the only one i can find is kev, but income tax time is coming around and im trying to figure out what parts would i have to gather up to do it. Im taking 30 days off from work in april so im hoping that i can do it then, my brother and I that is bc he's a mechanic and he's good as hell.

Kev and Dave B. are the two you need to talk with.

There is a NICE writeup on a 4th gen swap somewhere that is pretty much the same. Kev knows where it is.

Are you following Kev and going for a new trans or going for a used?

I was planning on finding an 5spd in a yard and getting the parts off it im prob gonna compare new parts to old parts and see the price difference depended on which way i go.

Definitely call Dave Burnette(800-251-7278) for the new prices.

If I were you, I would look for a used AE trans, but supposedly they are VERY scarce. You will need the AE axles if you find the AE trans..

No, sorry.

I don't need no stinking aol/aim, I got Maxima.org. At least when the server is actually working.

why not just sell your auto Maxima, and find a 5 speed Maxima...

unless you want to spend 30 days of vacation screwing with your car...

wouldn't you rather spend 30 days putting on mods?

racing at the track...

or anything else for that matter?

my 2 cents, even if you didn't want it...
