Looking good! You should have painted them the same color as your ride!... that would have been phat!
As far as condensation goes - a friend of mine that has an SS impala said that in order to get rid of condensation, the lights need to breath - therefore you need a small hole in your seal.
The reason is: well unless you seal them in perfect 0-humidity conditions, you will trap humid air in the lens... which means when there's a difference in temp on the inside & outside of your lense - you'll get condensation!
Does this make any sense?... cause all I've ever read on the org is: MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THEM WELL - and it doesn't always work...
TIP: if you do it outside in the freezing-cold air (on a dry-cold day), you are less likeley to get humid air in their, cause there is hardly any humidity in cold air - the dryer, the better. So then you can seal them up REAL GOOD & it should be ok.

OMFG I TOTALLY MESSED UP THE DRIVERS SIDE! I was washing the dishes when I stuck it in the oven, set the timer for 3 mins and BAMM I melted parts of the black housing! ARGG stupid me. The lamp still fits over it but now when I go mount it back on the car, the side sticks out slightly.
Im looking to buy a set of 2k-2k1 headlights now from ANYONE on this site. PM ME PLEASE!!

Yea gotta be careful when its in the oven. Putting some hot pads or a towel under the light would assure that it wouldnt burn. Also, 300 degrees is a maybe a bit high. You could probably get the job done at 250 for around 10 minutes. Just make sure no part of your whole assembly touches any part of the oven.

ideally, you can vent towards the top with a tube that turns downward that allows air to vent but prevents water from running in
you can seal the actually housing up really well too, and have the vent run out the back thru a drilled hole into the engine compartment.

300 degrees is a bit high especially for 8 minutes per write-up. PHATMAN you should change that in your write-up just in case another member has this problem. Its ok though, I found out that I just glued the friggen headlight cover wrong, thats why it stuck out. You don't want to see the back side of it though, most of its melted and it won't hold the turn signal bulb in place, gotta use the electric tape Otherwise everthing else holds (the headlight socket is still good) All in all, besides melting the thing, the project was EZ.
Hehehe there's still some plastic left on the oven rack. Gotta clean that thing up before I cook. Sizzo I used glossy black engine paint. You can buy a can from Autozone or any car place for about $3 a bottle. I only used 2 coats.
If Irving sold his headlights already, I'm just going to ordr AE ones, they are actually cheaper than regular headlights per a site PM'd to me. Thanks, I forgot your name man!
