Need Help? Removing clear\painted tape on sunroof PHOTO DESCRIPTION INSIDE

I have what is either clear tape or painted tape on the corner of the sunroof (where the deflector used to be) and just in front of the rear wheel (don't know why it is there) and wanted to remove the tape because wax gets on the edge of it and looks bad.

Does anyone else have this?
Has anyone removed it and if so how?

Thats left over from the wind deflector clips. Nissan puts clear tape there to protect the paint. It just peals right off. Make sure it nice and warm, it will be easier to remove.

Thanks, I was wondering if it just peeled off. It seems to be stuck on there pretty good. Any idea what the piece by the rear wheel is for?

the rear arch is some 3M protection stuff. There is distubed air there and that area will get sand blasted if the tape wasnt there. I have even lost some clear above that tape

if you lived on a dirt road or frequently drove on one, you'd probably have to watch that area closely. Just an odd wind thing.

In fact, if that door isnt aligned properly, the paint there will be damaged and you'll have serious wind noise.

I took mine off the sunroof area today. Once I had peeled off the tape, the adhesive remained on the paint. I used some adhesive remover and it was gone. A little wax and you're done.
